Well, the batteries were recharged in the camera and I finally got back to take some shots of her in the new surroundings. I had to take a couple days to get back into the real world...do taxes, look for work...all the normal things.
As I said in the last post, she looks great where she sits. Like she should have been there forever.
You can see the stacks of "cribbing", 6"x6" oak beams that are stacked to provide support for the beams and house overhead. There are 6 sets total and parts of the house cantilever out past the 4 sides.
I felt fine about it, even been walking around inside, until we had a major storm blow through earlier this week. They were expecting 60+ MPH winds and a tornado watch. Denise and I were terrified, but it held up fine. I went first thing the next morning to check.
Now we wait for the foundation work to begin.
