
These are the hydrualic lifts that will be used to jack the house up. 12 of them were placed under the main I-beams and were controlled by a "jack truck". Each lift has it's own pressure gauge and control, and then they all have master controls.
It's hard to see here, but this is right when the house started to move.

It was amazing! You could hear her wood flexing and creaking, it sounded like she was waking from a long sleep. Then she was off her foundation. The movers raised her about 6" I guess, then moved the jacks up higher on the cribbing and did it again. I think the jacks move up to 16" at a time, so they placed them a few times to get to the right height for the wheels to fit under.
