They got the truck fixed about 3:30pm today and we began hauling the
house up over the crest of the next hill on the farm. It wasn't a
huge hill by any means, but to be safe they added 2 loader/forklifts to
the front of the load and a bobcat helped push from behind.

We eventually made it to the backyards of my neighbors up the street,
about 4:30pm we hit that area and waited again for utility crews to
drop the power lines. We were no longer in our scheduled outage
period so they had to go door to door notifying people power was going
off.

It was quite a sight to see this house squeeze by the existing
home. There were tall pines to the far side of the lot above, but
it was also the flattest part of the lot so we had to brush pretty
tight through the trees. No damage to the trees, just lot's of
scraped paint. Less for me to do later!
Since we got a late start in the day we couldn't move onto the street
as we were losing light. They'll continue again Wednesday (after
school buses and most people leave for work.) We basically left
the house sitting in the front yard of my very understanding but
probably unappreciative neighbor.

It was quite a sight to see. Her neighbor right next door called
in a panic that night thinking the land had been sub-divided and sold!
