Foundation Continues ...

Well we got the partial approval on the footers about a week ago, somewhere around April 12, 2006.  It was partial because the footers weren't able to be completed because of two cribbing stacks supporting the house.  I think I mentioned that in the last article.

The mason showed up Monday morning and when I got there around 10am they had the bottom half of the back wall done and two other corners!  I was impressed.





Jeff, my mason, insisted things would slow down when they started the higher scaffolding work.  I still don't believe it, I think he'll be well within the 7-10 days he estimated, of course he can't do the full walls because the support beams are in the way.



I'll snap some more shots today and see how we're doing.  The next part of this choreography will be to get my beams set in place as the mover takes his out.  I also need to get the sill plate attached, but that has to be done in sections as well.
